Your new water meter accurately measures the water you use in litres and cubic metres (m3). Your water bill is calculated based on the number of cubic metres used in a billing cycle. As water passes through the meter, the “Sweep Hand” moves around the dial. Each complete revolution of the dial equals 100 litres (.1m3) of water.

droplets-01-01How will the City gather my information?

The meter installed in your home has a remote component. This means that the meter readers can take a reading by remote from outside your home. The only time anyone would need to access your home after installation would be to inspect, test, repair or replace the meter.
